Jennifer Harrison, RVT
Jennifer has over 20 years experience in the Veterinary field. Her experience ranges from working with large animals, lab animal medicine, military/police animals, to small animals and pocket pets. She began her training in the United States Army as an animal care specialist, then became a Registered Veterinary Technician and certified nutritional consultant from multiple pet food industries. Her areas of interest include Dental prophylactic care and animal nutrition. She is currently working towards an RVT specialty certification in dentistry and nutrition. Jennifer has been our district RVT representative for the California Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA) since 2015.
Her many furry friends include; a very energetic Lab/Aussie mix named Alo, white German shepherd named Oliver, a very sophisticated orange tabby cat named named Alfred the great, 32-year-old retired Arabian horse she’s had since he was 4 years old named Dancer, two Tortoises named Trot and Bernadette, and the newest addition, Boscoe, who is a super fun and frisky kitten.
In her spare time, she enjoys riding her motorcycle, horseback riding, camping and fun road trips with loved ones. Jennifer is excited to be part of Buena Vet's hospital team.
