Alejandra Aguirre, Veterinary Assistant

Alejandra (AKA: Ali or lil’ Ali) has always wanted to work in Veterinary Medicine for as long as she can remember. She received her veterinary assistant certificate in 2015 from Charter College and was immediately welcomed into the Buena Vet family after completing her externship. She’s very grateful to have started her career at Buena Vet with an awesome hospital and great staff. Ali plans on furthering her career in the near future to become a Registered Veterinary Technician. Whether her focus is small or large animals, she’s looking forward to the opportunity to learn more about the great field of veterinary medicine!

She has two pups. Her first and favorite puppy dog is a 6 year old, pit, named Rocco. He’s been a part of the family since he was 7 weeks old. While he’s a senior dog, he doesn’t act like one yet. He’s still very playful and his inner puppy comes out all of the time. Ali’s second dog is a 3 year old, yorkie mix, named Chief. He sure lives up to his name! He’s playful, spoiled, and a trouble maker that knows how to get away with anything. Both dogs were given to Ali as a present.

Aside from loving on her furry pets; Ali enjoys drawing, going on walks, family outings, and going to the beach!
